Schoolies Central
What's Schoolies Central?
In 2007, for the first time ever, the organisers of Whitsunday Schoolies Week created a 'Schoolies Central' - a one stop shop for Schoolies in central Airlie Beach. The idea for Schoolies Central grew from recognition that Schoolies had no designated space during the day to meet other Schoolies, ask questions, hang out or participate in activities.
Schoolies Central proved a great success in its first year, with many Schoolies choosing to spend the day (and night) there - relaxing, hanging out with friends, having fun on amusement activities, and partying! In 2008, the organisers of Schoolies Week made Schoolies Central even bigger and better.
Where's Schoolies Central?
Schoolies Central is located in the central Airlie Beach Car Park (next to the Lagoon).
