Why Volunteer?
Keeping Schoolies safe and ensuring they enjoy their experience in the Whitsundays is a huge task that relies on the generosity of people in the community who donate their time. Schoolies injects a significant amount of money into the local economy, creating benefits for all residents of the Shire. However, the most important reason for supporting Schoolies is to ensure that the young people attending return home happy and healthy to family and friends after their week in the Whitsundays. Volunteering at Schoolies is a great experience, offering the chance to meet new people and feel the satisfaction that comes from knowing you are impacting positively on young people’s lives.
